Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

We are seeking dedicated BCBAs’ to join our team. In this role, using web-based data collection, you will conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments as well as create personalized behavioral treatment plans for children and their families. You will be responsible for the supervision and training of behavioral technicians that implements the treatment plan while making sure to provide on-going, clinically appropriate training and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead & supervise ABA program
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments
  • Develop and implement Parent training and support programs
  • Provide training/supervision of behavioral technicians
  • Develop, manage, and oversee treatment plans
  • Communicate with New Life ABA Group, meet requirements and submission deadlines
Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in ABA or related field
  • BCBA Certification
  • License to practice in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • 8Hr Supervision Training Certificate
  • 20Hr Behavior Assistant (For BCaBA)
  • Basic First AID/CPR
  • Certificate of good physical health/TB test
  • Reliable car and car insurance

 

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

We are looking for qualified, dedicated and compassionate behavior technicians to provide ABA services to children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other developmental and behavioral disabilities who are in need of assistance to reduce maladaptive behaviors. RBTs’ are responsible for assisting BCBAs in the implementation of behavior plans through direct intervention. They will assist patients with day-to-day activities, monitor behavior, record and collect data on the patient’s progress, and communicate with clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavior intervention services
  • Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans created by and under the supervision of the BCBA
  • Collect and record data
  • Complete accurate treatment notes in a timely manner
  • Follow BACB guidelines and codes of conduct
  • Motivate and encourage clients
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent, college preferred
  • Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver’s license
  • TB test
  • Minimum 1 year experience preferred
  • Valid RBT certification/license
  • Must pass background check
  • Must be mindful and attentive to the safety of the client and surroundings
  • Basic First AID/ CPR

 

Speech and Language Pathologist

New Life is looking for qualified speech-language pathologist that are ready to work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in children. Patience, compassion, and empathy are three key characteristics that we search for in our SLP’s.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Proficiency in computer documentation and report preparation
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language pathology
  • Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to HIPPA legislation
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Accountability and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare engaging exercises and activities to use during sessions
  • Provide counseling and consultations for new patients
